Jack Warren – A Musical Journey

Mr. Warren is a highly trained musician with a vast and rich educational background, including European Studies and Conservatory training. As a baritone soloist, he has performed major oratorio works throughout the Eastern United States. He has been privileged to perform with superb concert pianists throughout his career, including Brian Preston, composer Roger Lentz, David Mead, and Luke Fang.

Musical Productions- Conducted

Has adapted, produced, and directed dozens of major musical productions and choral concerts, including multiple choirs, full orchestra, drama, and sets in churches and schools. Has led in developing the standards of excellence and quality in the Concert and Music Ministry at Mt. Horeb Church becoming recognized as a leading church in the Midlands. Has played a leading role in coordinating and conducting the Lexington Community Performance of Messiah by Handel, featuring over 200 voices from 35 different churches. In former churches and colleges has conducted, major works have been conducted, including Elijah by Mendelssohn, Brahms Requiem, Faure Requiem, Mozart’s Coronation Mass, and Schubert Mass in G. In February 2018, he helped spearhead the vision for The Majesty of God, a special concert featuring a 100 voice mass choir with singers from over 10 different church choirs from different denominations and racial backgrounds from Columbia, SC. Born from a vision to embrace and celebrate our cultural differences, this concert proclaimed unity and love for Jesus Christ with music as the universal language.

Messiah, Elijah, Brahm’s Requiem, Faure Requiem, Rachmaninoff, The Bells, Haydn’s Creation, Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony. Schaunard and Marcello in Puccini’s La Boheme, Paris in Gounod’s Romeo and Juliet, the Lead Role in Beside the Golden Door by Cary Ratcliff, Menotti’s Amahl and the Night Visitors, and Ford in Verdi’s Falstaff.
